First Day
So here I am! I have wanted to do this for a long time but I could never find the time. I finally have an evening to myself (well, not really because I still have 2 out of 4 boys home with me) to try it. Now, I'm just trying to figure it all out and search different backgrounds.
The highlight of my evening has been watching my two year grab our hands at the table, mumble grace, and bless himself which looked more like tapping his head and his chest several times. It was the sweetest thing and we just love it when he does that.
The rest of the fam is at Campout with the Guys at our friend's farm. Poor Aidan didn't make it because he is home with a fever. He's really big trying to say that he didn't want to go anyway. I remember that feeling of being little, looking forward to something and then missing it, either because I was sick or because I got into trouble and that was my punishment (as was the reason for my missing the Fox Hills Fun Fair). I can so relate.
Looks like the rest of my evening will be spent having a cup of hot tea (Irish Breakfast with a little milk and a little sugar) and sorting through all of the bins with the fall/winter clothes. But, wouldn't you know it, today was 85 degrees so it seems they'll still be needing the sumer clothes for a while longer. So, now I have to figure out where all of those clothes will go. It's sort of like a puzzle, trying to fit them into the drawers and closets. You have no idea how many clothes 4 boys can accumulate.
